- 2 tbsp butter (28 g)
- 2 tbsp oil (olive oil) (28 g)
- 60 g raw almonds
- 30 g raisins
- 3 cups hot drinking water (same cup used to measure rice) (600 ml)
- 2 tsp salt (10 g)
- 1 tbsp Splenda Granulated (1.5 g)

Add olive oil and butter to the rice pot; once the butter has melted, add the almonds and sauté for a few minutes.

Add the rice and fry for a few minutes over high heat. Add ½ cup of saffron water and 2.5 cups of boiling water using the same measuring cup. You will have used 3 cups of hot water for a total of 2 cups of rice. Add the raisins, salt, and Splenda Granulated and stir. Cook over low heat until the rice has absorbed all the liquid.
