    Ingredients

    • ½ cup warm water (120 ml)
    • ½ cup warm light milk (120 ml)
    • ½ packet instant yeast (5 g)
    • ½ packet baking powder (5 g)
    • ½ tsp salt
    • 1.5 cups flour (150 g)
    • 1 tbsp butter (for cooking)
    • 1 tbsp Splenda Granulated (1.5 g)

    In a deep bowl, mix warm water, warm skimmed milk, yeast, and Splenda Granulated, cover and leave to prove for about 10 minutes.

    Once proved, add the flour, salt and baking powder and beat with a mixer until smooth. Cover and leave to prove again for 30-40 minutes. Then stir the dough once to release the air.

    To cook, heat a large non-stick frying pan over medium heat. Grease with butter. Scoop 1 heaped tablespoon of dough and pour into the pan. When the dough rises and the bottom browns, cook the other side. Cook all the dough this way.

    Crumpets made with Splenda Granulated are ready, enjoy!
