Homemade Chai

This classic Homemade Chai is a sweet and culinary wonder. Enjoy this tasty recipe with the Sweetness of SPLENDA® Sweet Minis!

Combine ginger, SPLENDA® Sweet Minis, black peppercorns, cloves, cardamom pods, cinnamon stick, and water in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil.

Add the teabags, cover and steep for 5 minutes.

Remove spices and tea bags with a slotted spoon and discard.

Add milk and cook over medium heat until thoroughly heated. Do not boil. Serve immediately.


  • 3 slices peeled fresh ginger

  • 3 whole cloves
  • 2 cardamom pods
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 0.5 liter of water
  • 2 Darjeeling tea bags
  • 125ml semi-skimmed milk
