Sesame Honey Flapjacks

These deliciously honeyed flapjacks are great for lunch boxes and picnics. They contain iron from the oats and calcium from the sesame seeds.

Preparation time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 15 minutes
Ingredients:
75g (2¾oz) butter
3 tbsp runny honey
4 tbsp SPLENDA® Granulated
175g (6oz) rolled oats
1 tbsp sesame seeds
Method:
1 Preheat the oven to 180°C/160°C Fan/Gas Mark 4. Lightly grease an 18cm (7in) square baking tin.
2 Melt the margarine in a pan with the honey. Stir in the SPLENDA® Granulated, oats and sesame seeds.
3 Press the mixture firmly into the tin and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden.
4 Cool slightly and cut into 12 squares. When completely cool store in an airtight container.

Tip

Try swapping the sesame seeds for 25g (1oz) raisins. (raisins not included in nutrition information)
