Rhubarb and Apple Crumble

Ingredients:

  • 45g (1¾oz) polyunsaturated margarine
  • 75g (2¾oz) flour
  • 25g (1oz) oats
  • 7 tbsp SPLENDA® Granulated
  • 250g (9oz) rhubarb, trimmed and cut into 4cm (1½in) lengths
  • 1 x 475g jar Bramley apple sauce

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C/160°C Fan/Gas Mark 4.
  2. Rub the fat into the flour, using your fingertips, until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs.
  3. Stir in the oats and 2 tablespoons of SPLENDA® Granulated.
  4. Mix together the prepared rhubarb and apple sauce with the remaining SPLENDA® Granulated.
  5. Spoon into an ovenproof dish and top with the crumble mixture.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes until the topping is golden and the rhubarb cooked through.
