Cooking Time:
Ingredients:
-
2kg frozen red fruits
-
100g plain flour
-
60g light butter, cubed
-
4 tablespoons SPLENDA® Granulated
-
80g ground almonds

1 tbsp ground cinnamon
-
1 knob of margarine, for greasing
Method
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (Gas Mark 4)
- Defrost fruits in a strainer for 3 hours in advance
- Drain them well
- Mix flour, SPLENDA® Granulated, ground almonds and cinnamon in a bowl
- Add the butter
- Rub the butter into the dry ingredients with fingertips until it resembles coarse breadcrumbs
- Grease a baking dish with the knob of margarine
- Place the red fruits in the dish
- Pour the crumble mixture over the fruits

Tip:
Serve with light single cream. You can replace red fruits by several seasonal fruits (apples, pears, peaches, plums). If pastry doesn’t resemble coarse breadcrumbs, add some flour.
