Our unique sweetening ingredient was actually discovered in the UK during a collaborative project between researchers at the University of London and Tate & Lyle. On realising its potential as a sugar substitute for health conscious foodies, Tate & Lyle worked with us to bring SPLENDA® to you.

SPLENDA® was launched across the US in 2000, rapidly becoming the nation's favourite low calorie sweetener.

SPLENDA® was launched in the UK in 2002 and we've been making life sweeter ever since!!
